Atlas 3L - Drain Cleaning Cart (3-Bucket) (Patent Pending)
WHY ATLAS 3L WAS CREATED
“What is one of the most important sanitation programs?” they asked.
“Drain cleaning!” I answered.
“Are you sure?” they asked again.
“Yes!” I said.
Drains are known to harbor pathogens, and when drain cleaning is not performed correctly, pathogens from drains can easily spread to the production environment and potentially the product.
I have seen sanitors performing drain cleaning take gloves from the same glove boxes used by sanitors cleaning production lines, creating cross-contamination risks.
I have seen sanitors remove drain baskets and carry them across the plant to the nearest trash container while liquid dripped onto the floor, spreading potential contamination.
I have seen drain cleaning tools stored together with regular sanitation tools creating a cross-contamination risk.
I have seen the same plastic cart used for drain cleaning one day and equipment cleaning the next.
Atlas 3L is designed to help reduce pathogen cross-contamination risk during drain cleaning and afterwards:
A dedicated trash container can be carried directly on the cart, helping reduce drips and floor contamination from drain baskets during transport.
Dedicated drain cleaning tools and supplies (gloves, scrub pads, trash bags,…etc.) remain on the cart during cleaning and storage.
The integrated catch pan can be filled with a sanitizer solution to soak drain cleaning tools during storage to help reduce microbial load.
The self-draining, easy-to-clean hygienic design helps reduce the risk of the cart itself becoming a harborage point.
Atlas 3L is designed to help minimize spills, drips and the spread of potential pathogens from brushes and other cleaning tools as the cart moves from drain to drain during sanitation.
Use the hygienically designed, heavy-duty Atlas 3L for drain cleaning and for dedicated storage of drain cleaning tools and supplies.
Atlas 3L may quickly become your Sanitation Team’s new best friend.
Key Features:
Laser-marked as “Drain Cleaning Cart” to help prevent the use of drain cleaning tools and supplies for other cleaning activities
304 stainless steel, continuous TIG welding – corrosion-resistant, cleanable & long-lasting. To maintain the integrity and performance of the cart, sanitation chemicals should be verified for compatibility with 304 stainless steel. Avoid chemicals known to contribute to 304 stainless steel corrosion, including hypochlorite-based chemistries.
No hollow framework used on cart’s body to help reduce potential harborage points
Organized storage – compartments for tools and supplies; three 5 gal buckets can fit in the cart; if squeegee is used during drain cleaning, 16” wide squeegee is recommended to be able to fit in the catch bin.
Raised edges – keeps items secure during use
No sharp edges or corners to reduce residue buildup
Fully assembled – ready to use
Spacers – allow access for cleaning in between the casters and legs & both regular spacers and solid spacers are designed to be disassembled for deep cleaning; solid spacers are recommended for this application.
Casters – 304 stainless steel top plate and fork
Eco-friendly – supports plastic waste reduction
Capacity – 1000 lbs; Dimensions: 57” length X 20” width X 62” height
Our designs are created with the "Food Safety Equipment Design Principles" in mind and are influenced by personal experiences, consisting of numerous hours on the floor during sanitation at various plants.
Custom sizes, models & 316 stainless steel options available. Our products are fabricated in USA.
Upgrade your cleaning process with Atlas 3L- built for Food Safety & sanitation efficiency; built to last.
