Atlas 2 - Guard Cleaning Cart (Patent Pending)
WHY ATLAS 2 WAS CREATED
Imagine a sanitor using plastic pallets to clean the parts just taken off the equipment…
I have seen the frustration on the sanitor’s face as she squatted to clean parts on the plastic pallet. It is a real struggle to shift the pieces or move them around on the pallet while trying to clean them.
What about the risk of pathogen cross-contamination created by the splashes from the floor on to the equipment being cleaned?
Have you seen how Sanitation Teams can lose 30–45 minutes at the start of a shift just gathering tools and supplies before work even begins?
Too often, sanitation tools are stored in unhygienic conditions such as directly on the floors, on the bottom of the plastic carts, or commingled with different-colored tools after use, increasing the risk of cross-contamination.
Many plastic pallets are challenging to clean effectively, potentially allowing the pallet itself to become a harborage point.
Atlas 2 is created to assist sanitors and improve Food Safety by minimizing the risk of pathogen cross-contamination:
* Atlas 2 is designed with an elevated working height to support employee safety and provide a more ergonomic cleaning environment compared to pallets. The elevated design also helps minimize floor splashes onto equipment during cleaning, helping reduce cross-contamination risks from the floor.
* The hygienic design of Atlas 2 helps support effective cleaning and reduce the risk of the cart itself becoming a harborage point, and eliminate the need to lean the cart onto the floor during cleaning.
* The dedicated shelf on Atlas 2 helps keep sanitation tools and supplies organized, hygienically stored, and easily accessible during sanitation, improving Food Safety and sanitation efficiency.
Use the hygienically designed, heavy-duty Atlas 2 to clean, inspect, sanitize, and store large equipment pieces, including guards that cannot fit into smaller cleaning carts or COP Tanks.
Atlas 2 may quickly become your Sanitation Team’s new best friend.
Key Features:
304 stainless steel, continuous TIG welding – corrosion-resistant, cleanable & long-lasting. To maintain the integrity and performance of the cart, sanitation chemicals should be verified for compatibility with 304 stainless steel. Avoid chemicals known to contribute to 304 stainless steel corrosion, including hypochlorite-based chemistries.
No hollow framework used on cart’s body to help reduce potential harborage points
Open design - self-draining and easy to clean
Spacers – allow access for cleaning in between the casters and legs & both regular spacers and solid spacers are designed to be disassembled for deep cleaning; for wet cleaning applications, solid spacers are recommended.
Casters – 304 stainless steel top plate and fork
No sharp edges or corners to reduce residue buildup
Fully assembled – ready to use
Eco-friendly – supports plastic waste reduction
Capacity – 1000 lbs; Dimensions: 62.5” length X 30” width X 60” height; Weight: 200 lbs
Our designs are created with the "Food Safety Equipment Design Principles" in mind and are influenced by personal experiences, consisting of numerous hours on the floor during sanitation at various plants.
Custom sizes, models & 316 stainless steel options available. Our products are fabricated in USA.
Upgrade your cleaning process with Atlas 2- built for Food Safety & sanitation efficiency; built to last.
