Atlas 1W - General Cleaning Cart for Wet Cleaning (Patent Pending)
WHY ATLAS 1W WAS CREATED
Imagine trying to clean equipment parts on plastic carts filled with pooled soiled water and chemical solution. Holes are sometimes drilled into these carts in an attempt to make them “fit” for sanitation.
Plastic carts used during sanitation are often cleaned by leaning them directly onto the floor, increasing cross-contamination risks. In addition, many plastic carts contain lap joints and difficult-to-access areas that are challenging to clean effectively, potentially allowing the cart itself to become a harborage point.
Imagine equipment parts repeatedly falling off stainless steel tables during sanitation, creating safety risks for sanitors, increasing the risk of cross-contamination from the floor, and potentially damaging the equipment.
Too often, sanitation tools are stored in unhygienic conditions such as directly on the floors, on the bottom of the plastic carts, or commingled with different-colored tools after use, increasing the risk of cross-contamination.
And, every minute matters during sanitation. Yet in many plants, teams spend the first 30–45 minutes of a shift gathering tools and getting organized before touching equipment.
Atlas 1W is designed to assist sanitors, improve efficiency and Food Safety by minimizing the risk of pathogen cross-contamination:
* The height of Atlas 1W is designed to reduce the risk of splashes from floor onto the equipment being cleaned on the cart while also supporting employee safety.
* Atlas 1W is self draining.
* The hygienic design of Atlas 1W helps support effective cleaning and reduce the risk of the cart itself becoming a harborage point, and eliminate the need to lean the cart onto the floor during cleaning.
* Raised edges on Atlas 1W keep items secure during use.
* The dedicated shelf and tool storage on Atlas 1W help keep sanitation tools and supplies organized, hygienically stored, and easily accessible during sanitation, improving Food Safety and sanitation efficiency.
Use the hygienically designed, heavy-duty Atlas 1W for wet cleaning applications, to complement COP Tank pre-rinsing and staging, and to transport containers, tools, and equipment pieces throughout the plant.
Atlas 1W may quickly become your Sanitation Team’s new best friend.
Key Features:
304 stainless steel, continuous TIG welding – corrosion-resistant, cleanable & long-lasting. To maintain the integrity and performance of the cart, sanitation chemicals should be verified for compatibility with 304 stainless steel. Avoid chemicals known to contribute to 304 stainless steel corrosion, including hypochlorite-based chemistries.
No hollow framework used on cart’s body to help reduce potential harborage points
Spacers – allow access for cleaning in between the casters and legs & both regular spacers and solid spacers are designed to be disassembled for deep cleaning; solid spacers are recommended for this cart.
Casters – 304 stainless steel top plate and fork
No sharp edges or corners to reduce residue buildup
Fully assembled – ready to use
Eco-friendly – supports plastic waste reduction
Capacity – 1000 lbs; Dimensions: 53” length X 29.5” width X 53” height; Weight: 100 lbs
Our designs are created with the "Food Safety Equipment Design Principles" in mind and are influenced by personal experiences, consisting of numerous hours on the floor during sanitation at various plants.
Custom sizes, models & 316 stainless steel options available. Our products are fabricated in USA.
Upgrade your cleaning process with Atlas 1W- built for Food Safety & sanitation efficiency; built to last.
